Relief

I’m retired. I can’t believe it. I feel relief expanding in waves.

To celebrate, I’m making an apron. An alchemist’s apron. It’s a long involved process, including dismantling a linen shirt, dyeing it with local plant materials, hand stitching and more.

Feels perfect.
