looking at the walls and angles

comparing paint colors of the slightest different hue
looking at the accumulation of dust
and undone details all the plaster crumbs
noticing multitudes of flaws ancient and new
not able to imagine leaving
just always looking, trapped and – lazy? helpless?
paralyzed? like being in the body
really need some air
