Great collection of ancient Venus figures and other artwork.

The descriptions always puzzle me though. Archaeologists seem so naive when using describers like “mature,” “obese,” not to mention “from a gynecological perspective” and “in a dancing position.” We really have no idea. Shouldn’t we therefore keep silent?
