With daisies
Summer afternoons in Maine. The daisies are blooming near the deck. They look beautiful for a few weeks.
My quilt top is progressing. To manage the size a little better, I’m going to stitch strips together at this point and attach them to the main assembly later.
I like the latest round, which adds a leaf print (resist on purchased cotton) and a bit of green (indigo plus weld).
Looks beautiful .. it’s really coming along!
Next will come some rows with the 4×4 blocks – your idea and I can’t wait to try it!
Oh this is so beautiful Catherine! I think my blood pressure goes down just looking at it and it is a perfect compliment with the daisies! Love watching it grow.
I was going to take a photo inside until I thought about the daisies.
love this cloth, which looks like a cloud-filled patch of blue sky to me … can’t wait to see the four-patches and the stories they will tell
I’m very happy with the blotchy results of this dyejob because it looks like high clouds. So dreamy.
Really love it!
Thank you, Yvette!

Anyway, the Hydrangeas are beautiful!! What a nice surprise!
I’ll look into it, Nancy. I didn’t turn them off intentionally! Thanks for letting me know.
