Wondering about the equivalent of earthworms in poetry. A fertile poem, crawling with wrigglers, hermaphroditic, coming to surface in rainstorms. secreting viscous fluids from their clitellae.

Poem utilizing the body structures of earthworms… annular segments, a central digestive tube, two main blood vessels, a series of aortic arches, the clitellum band. Capable of both posterior and anterior regeneration.
