Beginnings
Hopeful beginnings, I should say. Both because I have hope for certain results and because success, whatever that means, is not guaranteed.
I want to knit a sweater or maybe a vest in this Nutiden yarn. I’m obsessed with it. It’s known as unspun yarn, pre-yarn, or pencil roving. I’m having trouble getting started. I think I have a pattern picked out but I still need to do the work of choosing a size, checking gauge, choosing needle size, etc. I have a swatch though!

A very different material: rock. This beautiful rock was underfoot on a trail we walked last Wednesday. Pink granite. I want to paint it. And I want to build a rock wall extending my existing rock wall. A project for warmer days.

And here’s the new County Commissioner. All dressed and ready to go. We’ll see where this journey takes us.

Aw. This post moved from good – good – to great! Best of luck Mr. Commissioner!!
He’s got a lot of people behind him, so it should go well. Fingers crossed!
