A case
This is a gift for a family member. I took a class in making these boxes over the summer. It’s not easy. I was not in a careful frame of mind when making this one. There are a lot of mistakes.
But I had the idea and I realized it in three dimensions. The vision is there. I like the depth added by the fragment of a painting I cut up for the inset.
And the supplies included are very analog, intended as an antidote to this digital world we find ourselves in. A few pencils, a pencil sharpener, a six-inch ruler, and a few good erasers.
Ooh…someone will be very happy unwrapping this one! I like the painting tucked in there.
