But, what absolutely glorious photos! I usually don’t have a lot of luck capturing butterflies. The ones we’ve been seeing here are the tiny white or yellowish-white ones and Monarchs, of course. Years ago I used to visit my friend up the coast and we’d visit the Monarch Grove, walking distance from her house. It was so amazing to see hundreds of them hanging from the Eucalyptus trees!!
Thanks for letting me know about the setting. I was so excited by the butterflies I forgot to check. I’ve never seen the massed Monarchs in person. How amazing that must be!
