Back to the garden
A tiny corner of the orchard, the circle garden, the main vegetable garden, the shed which used to house the chickens. And in front, leading to the house, the rock garden dividing the lawn from wild blueberries. Above, a little white cloud.
Last night, I took some photos under cloudy skies. This one shows the garden shed and the new squash garden and new trellis in the area that used to be the chicken run. The peas on the left are immense – taller than me – and just starting to make pods.
From inside the garden gate. The view of the grapevine over there used to be obscured by the trees in the chicken run. It’s nice having the grape vines more visible, although that area needs attention. A large log supporting the grapevines rotted and blew over and some of the vines are sprawling on the ground.
Clouds moving through at sunset.
It is so amazing to see so much green!! Especially since here things have started to brown up a bit.
Thank you for sharing this beauty with us ????
I loved your happy little cloud and your summer storm cloud too.
It is really green here, lots of rain so far this summer. I lived in CA for a few years around 1980 and I was surprised to see how brown the landscape got in the summer. Its own kind of beauty.
