    ” impermanence comforting”…something to consider, being able to find comfort in that impermanence. The old saying about there is nothing but change, right? So, why is it such an uncomfortable place to be. Thinking out loud here.
    The photos of this spot are beautiful. We could feel the cold from here!

      I think I felt comfort because it is real. Not trying to give a pretend sense of security.

        Ah, so comfort in the very real. This is something to think on. Mmm…so even if something changes (often? dramatically? etc.), the comfort comes in the authentic nature of it? This makes ‘change’ feel less scar, less of a disruption. I like that idea.

          Thanks for focusing on this, Nancy. It was just a thought that popped into my head. But I think I should keep the tidal beach and pond as an image to contemplate when change feels scary. Might help!
