Is it spring?
I wouldn’t say it’s spring. There’s plenty of snow and ice around, and a cold wind blowing today. But – there’s an egg!
It’s a big day when enough light returns that the chickens start to lay.

Yes it’s still cold. I don’t feel like doing much outside.

Yep, three of them. We bought 6 chicks soon after we moved here in 2016. Lost one in infancy and 2 to predators. These 3 hens have longevity!
