Allowing
I was feeling a little desperate for spring. Spending a lot of time fantasizing what it would be like in spring and summer around here. Walking glumly in the grit and grime with dirty snow and ice everywhere.
Today I decided to visit the pussy willow I discovered last year. I am very happy to say the pussy willow is showing signs of spring!
I’m pleased with myself that I remembered where it was. I’m glad it helped me reset to be able to notice the tiny changes of early spring and not have to jump out of the present moment.
And I decided to modify my “snow” squares. They are too stark white for the garden quilt, and look out of place. Maybe if I add some colorful triangles. These initial pieces feel great and inspire me to continue. It’s a lot of stitching, but – that’s the nature of this project.
To reconsider, reframe is a good tool (at least for me lately). Such a beautiful pussy willow photo.
I definitely agree. I love seeing the pussy willows.
