A quieter day
I’ve been studying fall this year – or rather, how winter comes.
There’s a lot of flourishes, last of summer days.
Then there’s quieter, cloudier days, where the colors stand out that much more.
I took an extra long walk today.

I finally finished using the grapevine I’ve been soaking to make this sphere. There’s quite a lot of muscle required to push and pull these vines into the structure. It needs more canes to feel really firm. I wonder what would happen if I left it outside all winter. Would it hold together?
the
Sphere….. i stopped breathing! and then the longest exhale
you live in a truly enchanted place. even bleak there is Beauty Full. i love the word bleak
I really like the sphere – it wasn’t too hard. Yes, bleak – very much part of winter here.
I hope you leave the sphere outside. I want to see a picture in the bleak and the snow. It’s a lovely orb.
Thank you! It seems contented outside. I have some more grapevines soaking to help keep its shape.
