There’s a lot going on around here. My partner decided to run for the town select board. He’s never done this before. Maybe it’s a change of heart due to his bypass surgery in January.

Whatever the reason, I got involved helping make campaign signs. I made the stencil, including hand-crafting the larger letters for his name. He painted them. I installed most of them (only 16, our town is not that big).

Here’s the candidate, voting.

And the results! Sam DiBella and Sean Jones (an incumbent) join the five-person board, for a three-year term. Sam considers his win a landslide. Now he enters the world of local politics, for real. I wonder how life will change.
