Scrappy hearts

I think this is the first time I’ve tried to piece a shape together from small scraps. It wasn’t that hard although it involved a lot of pins. The backing is assembled too, from a bit larger scraps. I laid them on a strip of madder-dyed silk for photography, they look quite regal there.

The first one has a little embroidery. I might add some to the others.
