Garden days, cloth dreams

Rain. Lots of it. And thunder. I scurried around yesterday afternoon to spread hay mulch and do some ongoing garden cleanup. Harvest the rest of the bumper cucumber crop and remove the dead vines.

I’m becalmed as far as making goes. Putting the garden to bed is taking up a lot of time. I dream about what i’ll make with these squares. I’m excited about trying out the math in different ways. Then I imagine just doing a random joining of things – how that might look. It’s a good question, how the vision forms and comes into existence.
