Paper treatment

I am making papers. Using an interesting variation on paste paper that I learned at an online demo by book artist Suzanne Moore. She uses a methyl cellulose and matte medium mixture on wet paper (specifically Arches Text Wove) and then blends a bit of acrylic or pastel or what-have-you onto the surface. Hard to explain and messy, but not as messy as my earlier paste paper experiments with wheat paste, which took over three rooms. I’m trying to conceptualize a book out of this little pile of papers, but not there yet.
