A red basket beginning

I am really interested in the color red lately. I think it’s related to February, hearts and Valentines, not to mention fire, Imbolc, St. Brigid, and Candlemas.

I repurposed this long strip of red cloth that I was going to use in a quilt. I’m winding it into a fabric coil basket instead. I want one to hold my embroidery threads.
