Basket of blues

Another fabric coil basket completed.

This one uses cotton piping as the core. I purchased it in a roll from Joanne’s. The mostly blue fabrics had already been stitched together into a strip, so that was convenient to use. I used cotton swine twine throughout as the thread, which reduced the decision making requirements nicely.

The top edge is a blue sateen pillowcase scrap. I decided to attach a few beads on the tail end for an accent.
