A little weaving
I finally finished this circle weaving experiment. It’s tiny and went fast but I became stuck when I realized I didn’t have enough of the deep turquoise color to complete the background.
After setting it aside for overly long, I decided to work with some light blue yarn. I attempted to blend the colors, alternating turquoise and light blue up the sides.
It turned out ok. But if I was going to do it again, I’d try to climb the turquoise a little higher so it didn’t end right at the top of the shape. It was a good experiment and the finished piece feels good in my hand. And it’s eye-catching!
Along with one of your recent “squares” – it could be a little bag 🙂 It sure does catch your eye!
I cut a hole out of the cover of my weaving notebook and taped this on the first page so it shows through the hole. Helps me find my weaving notebook and I get to look at it often!
