A little card

I needed a condolences card for a fiber friend. Little pink patch was just perfect. Cut into a heart shape, pressed a rough seam allowance, stitched around the edge with a fine blanket stitch. I mounted it on a folded piece of paper from a disassembled blank book. Three small stitches knotted on the inside. It’s easily removable if the recipient wants to use it for something else.

I had to trim up the edges of the paper to get it to fit in the envelope. I should prepare some more of those pages for use as cards. I really liked the result.
