Blue basket

I’ve been wanting to start another fabric coiled basket for awhile and finally got it going. At this stage I just have to keep coiling and stitching. I want to use up the blue strips I stitched together earlier this year for some other project that didn’t work out for them.

The seine twine I bought for warping works great for this purpose. And I have a whole cone of it, so no fears of running out before completion.

I’m also using some cotton piping that I have on hand for a pillow project years ago. It is fun to recombine materials in different ways.
