Rolling Cube box

A very satisfying art retreat day with Vintage Page Design’s Handmade Book Club group. We made a rolling cube box.

The paper is batik I purchased from Washi Arts. I like the worn, old look it gives to the object. Information from their website:

Batik papers are colored by hand on handmade paper made from Nepalese lokta fibre, a fully sustainable plant harvested from the wild.

And the box is very fun to open and close as it goes around and around.
