Inset

Today I cut into an old faded pair of pants to make this inset strip. The dots in the pants are almost the same color as the sheet and the pants leg was almost the same length as the robe. So it was like it had to be.

There was something sad about unpicking the center back seam though. i think I’ll feel happier once the inset is stitched in.

The wooden floor in my bedroom makes a very nice surface for laying out the cloth and cutting.

And the dowel over the sconce light makes a nifty hanging device.
