Some reading: An Artist’s Archaeology of the Mind
Contemplating mind:
- Sedimentary (Peter Sacks)
- A safe haven (Jude Hill)
- A “twilight world peopled by frustrated desires and suppressed resentments, by vacillations, whims, and many other shadowy figures” (Ven. Nyanaponika Thera)
We have been back for a week today. Saturday, a retreat at the meditation center. Sunday, a trip to Portland for the Book Arts Bazaar. Monday morning, an early trip back home to beat the snowstorm. Snow continued Tuesday and Wednesday, on and off. Today, sunshine and melting.
