recycled tealight

A used tealight with a little wax remaining in it

Two empty half pans filled with watercolor paint from tubes

Equals a tiny palette with a favorite blend for dark neutrals!

I melted the wax a little on the wood stove, then seated the pans in it. When the wax cooled, they were firmly held. Daniel Smith ultramarine and transparent red oxide.

I have another empty tealight ready for another pair, but first will see how I use this one.
