local eucalyptus

I found some locally grown eucalyptus for sale at the farmer’s market. Bought a spray for $2.00 and enjoyed it in a vase for a week or so. Then printed with it. Arranged on silk noil, wrapped around copper pipe, boiled for about 2 hours. No mordant. Also used orangey crabapple leaves from the colorful little tree in the yard.

I like the symmetry of this folded piece. Also the flecks in the original fabric which may have become a little darker with dyeing?
