bundle up and do some forestry
clearing path from house back through Crabtree Neck Preserve
for snowshoeing when the snow’s replenished
getting pleasantly lost and following deer trails
so obvious with hoof prints, piles of poop
fallen birches, sharp turns to reach the path in the preserve
retracing steps to save
in memory
