tappan zee

On workdays I drive over the
Hudson River morning and night on
the Tappan Zee bridge. I can
see the river and the headlands,
the houses and the quality of
the air. There are flocks of cranes
for new construction, concrete stanchions
already poured, steel girders (painted sky
blue), some waving flags, tiny workers.
New Bridge, to be completed 2018.
