on and off the grid

St. Patrick’s Day, busy at work
and I have to make some
personal phone calls, hard to schedule.
One appointment to see a house
on Egypt Lane that’s off the
grid (he explains “no high-speed Internet”),
another to my bank inquiring about
mortgage pre-approval. My bank’s footprint
doesn’t extend to Maine, oh well. Later,
internal discussion about the US system.
