One of the first warm spring
days. A pleasure to walk outdoors,
sun warm on back and head
air cool on arms and face.
Torture to sit at my desk
in my cubicle, not because I
long to be outdoors but because
I have to endure this arctic
chill. The office can’t face up
to the reality of climate change.
