red tulip variations

After several days of practice, I was finally able to preserve the delicate variations in watercolor shading that all add up to “red.” (Green was easier, just add strips of
yellow and blue.)

I didn’t sketch the distracting mass of leaves. And the variations could look more realistic — practice for another day. Nice to spend some concentrated time with tulips.
