Leon Levy Preserve (again)
This time I drove right to the preserve. I was determined to get unlost by walking my previous route, or part of it, backwards. I could come up to the troublesome place from the opposite direction and memorize landmarks.
My plan partially worked, but I only did the small loop (white to blue). I did it twice. I didn’t get onto the yellow trail where the problem really started. It was so gloomy, and threatening rain, and there was another car in the parking lot, which spooked me. I saw the person’s back up ahead of me going toward the yellow trail and I did not want to pass him. Another time.
It felt like a ceremony of getting unlost. And then unlost again. I’ve picked up the idea of ceremonies from jude hill and I like it a lot.
