That this coffee shop has a washroom
that there is a hook on the back of the door
that the floor is covered with shiny white penny tiles
   except where some are missing in
   the shape of two eyes and a
   flat line mouth
that it’s warm in here
   and the walls are painted with designs
   blue walls, black designs
   paisley shapes with white dots inside them
that on the wall hangs a portrait
   of a blond young man before a
   cityscape
that the portrait has a real beard
   made with real human hair
   reddish and curly
   like beard hair
that the toilet paper is plentiful
   three rolls of various fullnesses
   stacked on a spindle
that the toilet flushes readily and swiftly
that the sink is capacious and clean
   with a cunning faucet shaped
   like a single lever
   and the color of light blond metal
that the hand towels are at hand
   in a convenient plastic bin
   the shape of hand towels
that the lighting is plentiful
   and I can turn it off
   when I exit.
