Another crop of this image. I was attracted by the blue realistic looking leaf shape in the center, which was shunted off to the lower right in the previous crop.

I like the textural element here, both leathery and fuzzy stuff going on.

Playing with images vs. playing with words. There is something to this, but I’m not really sure how to describe it yet.

Reading today, of all things, Marianne Moore’s essay “A Burning Desire to Be Explicit” in Tell Me, Tell Me. I find this relationship with “explicitness” to be a frustrating conundrum in writing. But not even an issue when developing images. One of the many reliefs.
