larder
Inspired by my friend Roz’s post Do you have a larder? at Autumn Cottage Diarist:
top shelf: assorted spices, nutritional yeast
middle shelf: oils, vinegars, tamari, agave nectar, cashews
bottom shelf: nuts and seeds, date pieces, sardines, anchovies, dried seaweed – and – chocolate!
This is the shelf for teas, both looseleaf and teabags. And popcorn.
In the background, jars of kombucha fermenting.
Bowl and basket storage for fruits, vegetables, and garlic.
And finally, not a larder, but a product of the larder – latest loaf of “no-knead” artisan bread.
This one has kamut flour (?) in it, and some accidental streaks of blue corn meal.
