the green bar theme
Just when I was contemplating changing the layout of this site, I ran across kottke.org (again) and found an odd similarity. Coincidence, a green bar theme meme, or past viewings of his site buried in my feeble design mind?
I got the bar from the man~ja theme, selected from WordPress1.5 Themes. I was striving for the simplest possible look that wouldn’t distract from the content. I chose the color thinking of the color of a t-shirt I own.
Note the many small details that make his green bar look much more interesting.
