a star neighbor

My neighbor’s name is Mario.
He is a star neighbor.
He dresses all in white.
His yard is filled with the most special junk,
some of it’s painted royal blue.
He grows corn.
He shells peas on his porch.
His house is big and white, on a corner lot.
He has a new car that he never drives, a cherry red PT Cruiser.
And two old cars that he drives regularly,
a light blue Volaré from the 70’s and a tan Valiant, maybe even older.
He mows his yard one strip at a time. He’s up to two now.
