Ideas

Most of my ideas are hairy and wild.
I don't even recognize them as ideas
until they have taken me hostage.
Sometimes they hang around
for a day or two.
I usually manage to trap them
and remove them to a wilderness area.
Sometimes they can be domesticated,
but only if I'm very daring
because they smell funky
and have big sharp teeth.
