I\u2019m trying to get more organized with my garden planning. I used a <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"planting schedule from Johnny\u2019s Seeds (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.johnnyseeds.com\/growers-library\/seed-planting-schedule-calculator.html\" target=\"_blank\">planting schedule from Johnny\u2019s Seeds<\/a> to plan out the indoor seed starting schedule week by week. First up, alliums:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Conservor shallots<\/li><li>Borrettana Cippollini onions<\/li><li>Bleu de Solaize leeks<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We used our soil blocking tool and a potting mix composed with the following recipe: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>5 parts ProMix Growing Medium<\/li><li>3 parts compost (Vee, left over from last year)<\/li><li>1\/2 part sand <\/li><li>1\/4 part azomite <\/li><li>5 parts water<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I sprinkled the seeds over the top of the blocks, then sprinkled more ProMix over the top and misted. The flat is on the kitchen floor for now, where the radiant floor heat can keep them warm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next week, I\u2019ll start some celeriac and leaf celery. Maybe parsley.
